The Noctua NH-U14S is a highly effective CPU cooler that does an excellent job of dissipating heat while remaining relatively quiet. During our testing, we found that the NH-U14S was able to keep our test CPU (an Intel Core i9-9900K) at reasonable temperatures even under heavy load. The included NT-H1 thermal compound also worked well, providing excellent thermal conductivity between the CPU and the cooler. Installation of the NH-U14S was straightforward, thanks to Noctua’s SecuFirm2 mounting system. The mounting system was easy to use and provided a secure and stable mount for the cooler. The included 140mm fan was also relatively quiet, even at high speeds, and provided ample airflow to the heatsink.
